Cello / Yu-Ning Huang

Yu-Ning Huang is a Taiwanese cellist born in 1995. She earned her master degree in cello performance at Boston University School of Music. She studied with Mihail Jojatu, who is a cellist of Boston Symphony Orchestra. During the time at school, she had been appointed as the cello principal. Besides, She also studied chamber music with the Muir Quartet. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree at National Taiwan Normal University with Prof. Jaw-Fu Lin. Yu-Ning has been selected to play in many professional orchestras, including Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, Taiwan Pro Arte Orchestra, Taichung city symphony orchestra, YINQI Symphony Orchestra & Chorus. Not only flourishing in classical music area, but she also had been invited to perform at the famous ceremony of movie industry “Golden Horse Awards” and Asia Pacific Traditional Art Festival in Taiwan.

Yu-Ning recently serves as a cello teaching artist at Sun Yat-Sen University and Taichung City Youth Symphony Orchestra. She also has been awarded first place of 2021 Chamber music group selection by Eslite with other two partners. In addition, she is active as a cellist in many performances.
